Happy Friday the 13th, everyone! It’s been a little while since I last blogged, and it’s been with good reason! Since my last work life balance blog, there’s been some changes in my life. I’ve transitioned into a new position and a new phase in my career for which I couldn’t be more excited!
As I settle into these new roles, I thought ‘What better time to start blogging again?’ I love sharing my thoughts and feelings with you all. It is gratifying hearing from people who can relate to what I write about when I talk about balancing being a badass lady boss and a mom of 3 awesome kids. That’s right! This space is devoted to work life balance from my perspectives as both a real estate professional and as a mom of 3!
This time around, I want to also mix in advice for young professionals coming into the real estate industry. It’s a challenging sector. A lot of people are too guarded to give professional advice because agents are always in competition with other agents. I don’t see it this way; and I think professionals helping professionals is the very foundation of professionalism.
I see too many promising young professionals exit the industry too early who aren’t able to figure everything out on their own. I’ve also seen too many promising family women struggling with work life balance to the point of breakdown.
Let’s Be Real
With that said, I’m not some perfect Instagram glossy ‘lifestyle guru’. I’m a real person who deals with real challenges every single day. I’ve been fortunate enough to find ways to make my work life balance work for me, and I want to help remind you that you can do it too!
Do you know a young professional trying to break into real estate? Let them know I’m their new cool big sister!
Do you know a working mom trying to balance her career with raising her kids? Let them know I’m their new wine and ‘Bachelorette’ gal pal!
I’m so excited for this new phase in my life and career, and I hope it leads to some great conversations, some relatable motivation, and some personal inspiration.
You’re awesome. You are beautiful. You’re intelligent. You’re capable, and you’re Going Places!
